HOW TO PROPOSE A NETWORKING SESSION

Submit a networking proposal online

You need to use the
Interactive features of the ICT 2008 website
to submit a networking proposal. Follow the instructions below:

  • Step 1: Create an
    Information Society Portal events profile
    if you do not already have one. You already have an
    events profile if you created one for the 'IST 2006' or 'Köln 2007'
    event web sites.
    If you are not sure whether you have an events profile or not, use the
    password reset page to recover your details.
  • Step 2:
    Once you have created your events profile,
    Log-in to the web site,
    using your events profile login,
    and select the 'Create a new Networking Proposal' form.
  • Step 3: Enter the details of your networking proposal in the
    online form. You may work on your proposal in draft form as long as you
    wish, before finally submitting it.
  • Step 4: press the "submit" button to send your proposal.
    You can edit your proposal even after you have submitted it up to the
    closing date. You must submit your
    proposal before the closing date, 16 June 2008, 12 noon CEST. Otherwise, your proposal
    will not be eligible and will not be evaluated.

Networking Proposals should:

  • be submitted only via
    the standard on-line proposal form for networking proposals;
  • adhere to the size limits specified in the proposal form;
  • define the objectives of the session in terms of results to be achieved
  • satisfy the networking selection criteria.

For more information contact:

    technical problems while submitting your proposal.

The deadline for submission of exhibition ideas is 16 June 2008 at 12h00 CEST.
